The exhibition will be held from the 8th to the 10th June 2007 starting at 10am and will run till 8pm daily. By taking into account the availability of space and the growing demand from the last year stall holders and new comers, organizers would like to increase the participation to 175 stalls from diversified educational sectors.The exhibition centre will be organised in such a way where visitors can easily gather the necessary information. In addition to the education stalls, number of out-door events will be organised to make the event more colourful and interesting to visitors who would come with their families. Amongst those events, Bridle show, Motor show, School Musical Band competition, and Art competitions that will be organised in the outside of the exhibition premises would be very attractive to many visitors from all the age groups. With support from the Ministry of education, organisers will ensure the maximum participants from schools.  Further, there will be two competitions for visitors and general public who would be the target audience of the “Future Minds” advertising campaign.

The foremost “Future Minds 2007” initiatives will kick-off on the second week of March 2007 with an official media conference followed by cocktails. The “Future Minds” programme and its objectives will be announced at the press conference to inform the stall participants from the previous year and Sri Lankans in general. The media campaign of “Future Minds 2007” will also start with the press conference. In addition to print and electronic media publicity, the organisers are planning to use three mobile units which will be travelling around the busy cities in the western province such as Colombo, Bambalapitiya, Nugegoda, Maharagama, Gampaha, Kalutara and Borella. While campaigning for “Future Minds”, these mobile units will distribute brochures about the exhibition participants who have assured their involved with the final payment. Organisers will install hoardings soon after the press conference in prominent places around the western province. Further, handbills, posters and invitation letters to schools and other education and training providers will be dispatched. Organisers will set-up a help desk in the run-up to the event to assist the inquiries of the interested individuals and groups about this exhibition. “Future Minds” website and a regular email and SMS campaign too will be activated soon after the official kick-off.
